VICTORIAN Farmers Federation representative Charlie de Fegely and National Broadband Network regional manager Graham Soawyer will be guest speakers at Ararat Rural City Council's next business breakfast on June 12.
Mr de Fegely is a primary producer near Ararat and will talk about the new Eastern Grampians Pipeline, and Mr Soawyer will report on the progress of the NBN roll-out.
Council chief executive Dr Tim Harrison will also speak at the breakfast and encouraged business owners and primary producers to come along and hear the latest business news, as well as do some networking over eggs.
"This business breakfast will be a great opportunity for local operators to hear the latest about the rollout of the National Broadband Network," Dr Harrison said.
"Local primary producer Charlie de Fegely will speak on issues affecting our agricultural sector, and there will be plenty of time to ask questions and network with other business owners."
Ararat Rural City Council holds the business breakfast regularly, with a range of speakers invited to provide inspiration, education and information.
Dr Harrison said they often book out and encouraged people to book early to secure a spot.
The breakfast will be held at Chalambar Golf Club, 118 Golf Links Road, Ararat from 7am to 8.45am.
Bookings can be made through the Phillippa Cairns on 5355 0241,0437 715 673, or at email@example.com.
