The club hosted its annual President's Lunch, with former Brownlow Medallist, Collingwood superstar and larrikin Dane Swan attending the event as a guest speaker.
Stawell president Tim Williams said Swan provided great entertainment for the large crowd in attendance, making for a successful event.
"He is a pretty funny guy and had some interesting stories to tell," Williams said.
"Overall the event went really well, we had a sell out of tickets which was fantastic."

Swan said he enjoyed his time at Stawell, taking a tongue-in-cheek jibe at manager and former Stawell player Liam Pickering in the process.
"It took me a while to get here but the people where fantastic and it is always great to come out to country footy clubs. If people are silly enough to hear me talk I'm silly enough to come and do it," he said.
"I came here with Collingwood for a clinic a few years ago. I remember sitting up here (clubrooms) eating subway while waiting for a clinic to start.
"I was actually looking for my manager's jumper. He said it was hanging up but I actually found it in the toilet," Swan joked.
It was also announced at the weekend that Swan would be one of several public figures to take the slide into a pool of icy water at the MCG on Queen's Birthday to raise finds in the fight against MND.
