Walker has proven himself as a key part of a solid and attacking Warriors backline which has taken the game head on so far this year.
Walker's dash off half-back and aggressive use of the football up the field has helped his team to the position it is in after four matches.
In their most recent contest, the Warriors knocked off reigning premiers Horsham to send a warning to the rest of the competition.
"Everything is looking pretty positive at the moment. The boys have gelled together better than we ever have," Walker said.
"Everyone is up and about and really excited about what the year has in store."

The 20-year-old has played about two seasons of senior football for the Warriors.
A season in Geelong when he moved for university and troubles with a broken hand kept Walker out of the red and black, but he made his return to the fold in the back half of last year and hasn't looked back since.
"I am really enjoying my footy at the moment," he said.
"There have been a few ups and downs but it i good that we are starting to put some good wins together.
"The brand of footy we play is one I really enjoy. We move the ball quickly and use our run and pace which is exciting to be part of."
The Warriors also holds other importance for Walker, with his three siblings Meg, Tom and Daisy also competing for Stawell every weekend.
He said the family aspect of the club is something he enjoys most.
"I suppose it is good the whole family is together. It is a great family club," he said.
"Meg and Daisy get to play together and every now and again Tom and I do too."
Jack's brother Tom has a strong athletics background, having competed at several long distance national events. Jack said running didn't interest him much.
"I did a bit when I was younger but I don't have the patience for it," he said.
Despite his lack of interest in running off the field, Walker said he enjoys the "offensive defender" role he holds in Stawell's senior team.
He said he has been able to learn from his teammates to develop, with one playing a key role in particular.
"I have learnt a lot from Jacko Dark," he said.
"He's been unreal in showing how to defend guys a lot bigger than me. He tells you what to do and is a great leader for our team.
"Guys like Naish (McRoberts) and Tom (Taurau) are also so skilled and have a lot of knowledge to hand on.
"I'm really enjoying the challenge of senior footy and hope we can keep rolling on with some more wins."
