Open to anyone, the arts company are hosting a short concert on Sunday, May 26.
President Dianne Stewart said Stawell Performing Arts Company are committed to providing performing arts opportunities to local residents.
"Part of our plan for the use of the grand piano is to make it more regularly available for people to play and enjoy," she said.
"The Open Day on the Grand is a part of this commitment."
In 2018 the open day attracted six people to come and play with a number of onlookers enjoying the music.
Alanis Williams participated in the day and said the grand piano makes a strong, amazing sound that fills the town hall.
"You feel so great to know that you can play this amazing instrument and make this awesome sound," she said.
Ms Stewart said she hoped this year there would be an increase in the number of people involved.
"We want to further build on the day," she said.
"Stawell Performing Arts Company have arranged an additional concert in the afternoon by Jack L Stacey."
"Jack is an accomplished composer, jazz and classical pianist from Ballarat and is in his second year of study of the Bachelor of Music at the University of New England, Armidale.
"Jack will be introduced by Phil Cockerill who tunes and maintains the grand piano in Stawell. Phil will also provide a short informative talk about the piano itself."
Open access to play the grand piano will be from 10am to 2pm and the afternoon concert is from 3-4pm
"If you would like to book a time to play the piano prior to the day people can contact me on 0427850278," Ms Stewart said.
