Players competed across various events at state champions week having won through from their respective regions across Victoria.
Stawell Bowling Club president Andrew Sharp flew the flag for his club as well as the Wimmera, after winning both the Grampians division and the Wimmera region titles.
Sharp had previously competed at two state champions weeks, with his most successful tournament a quarter finals exit in the mixed pairs last year.
He competed in the singles this year, coming off a strong pennant season.
After convincing 25-11 and 25-14 victories in his first two rounds, Sharp advanced to the semi finals, a feat he has never done before.

"That is the furthest I have progressed at a competition of that level," Sharp said.
"To win a Grampians title is an honour in its own right, and to win your region is another honour in itself, but to go to the state level and progress to the last few in the state is massive."
Sharp took on Deer Park's Brett Mahoney in the semi final, with a vocal crowd helping Mahoney away to an early 1-8 lead.
Sharp was able to turn things around, eventually moving ahead 15-11 before the scores levelled at 19 each.
"It was quite a passionate crowd which helped him get off to a good start. Once I started putting in a few better bowls they quietened down a bit," Sharp said.
Despite his come from behind efforts, Sharp lost the next three ends to lose 25-19.
Sharp said he was pleased to get as far as he did.
"There were a lot of state bowlers there so it is good to know you can match it with those blokes."
Sharp also competed in the triples competition, falling short by one shot with Neil Coates and Andrew Cray in their first game.
The women's triples team of Olive Gibson, Ellen Werry and Karen Brennan also fell short by one shot in their first round match.
Sharp said the state event sums up a good season for himself and the club.
"It has been a great year for our club. We won the men's and ladies pennants, won the region pennant, made it to the last four in the state singles and won the mixed with my wife for the first time," he said.
