Funds from the appeal go to the Royal Children's Hospital, and Jim Leithhead, of Pomonal, will open up his private collection of cars and memorabilia for the Good Friday Appeal.
Mr Leithhead said he saw it as a good opportunity to raise money.
"More and more people want to come and have a look so I thought I'd do it on a Good Friday and try to make a dollar for the Appeal," he said. "It's a collection of American cars - they're called Lincolns - from 1922 to 2006."
Entry will be $10 per person and all proceeds will go to the Appeal, with doors open from 10am to 3pm at 254 Tunnel Road, Pomonal.
The Ararat Fire Brigade will also be fundraising and volunteers can register day of at 8.30am at the Ararat Primary 800 Learning Centre.
They are celebrating 50 years of collection, with a total of $918,762 raised.
Stawell Fire Brigade will also be running a street collection on Good Friday.
