Two iconic Stawell events host fashion competitions - a chance for patrons of all ages to glam up for the day.
The Stawell Gift and Stawell Racing Club will host fashions on the field on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
The Stawell Gift's off the track Fashions on the Field will give women, gents and teens the opportunity to showcase their latest autumn carnival looks at Central Park this Easter Saturday.
The Stawell Athletic Club has invited former Stawell resident turned Race day fashionista Eliza Icke and her husband Brad to judge the 2019 Stawell Gift Fashions on the Field with registrations open from 12.30-3.30pm.
Mrs Icke, nee Fraser, grew up in Callawadda and was a former student of Callawadda Primary School, Stawell High School and St Brigid's College, Horsham.
"I always attended the Stawell Gift with my parents (Scotty and Cath Fraser) growing up and I enjoyed the atmosphere when thousands of people were brought to Stawell and the district for the Easter weekend Stawell Gift Carnival," she said.
"I am absolutely delighted to join Mrs Joan McPherson (family friend of my late mother Cath Fraser) to return to Stawell and be part of the Fashions on the Field event which she has co-ordinated every Easter Saturday for the past 18 years."
Mrs Ick said she is on the look out for Autumn/Winter wear.
"This is an opportunity for entrants to get out their beautiful felt or leather hats, gloves and furs which are a big comeback fashion accessory this season," she said.
Mrs Icke will also be judging fashions on the fields at the Stawell Cup on Sunday.
Registrations for all categories opens from 11am at the fashion stage.
Sneek-a-peek owner Adrienne Preston said the weather has really changed things this year.
"People have come in and changed what they were originally going to wear after seeing the weather forecast," she said.
"Some people have had to change their whole outfit - including head wear."
Mrs Preston said there hasn't been a particular trending colour this year.
"There hasn't been any real stand out colours - there are so many that are trending from Autumn and Winter," she said.
"People have really mixed it up this year and haven't gone with only dresses. Buyers have opted to go with tops and skirts or tops and pants."
Mrs Preston said her store will be open every day over the Easter period.
"There's always someone who forgot something," she said.
"I'm happy to help women make sure they look and feel their best for the Easter weekend."
Solace Beauty therapist Brooke McKenzie said women, and gents, who opt to go for a spray tan need to remember hydration is the key.
"Preparation is so important. A tan works best on moisturised and exfoliated skin," she said.
"And don't forget to drink plenty of water to keep skin healthy as well."
Ms McKenzie said looking after your skin will extend the life of a fake tan.
"People need to make sure they moisturise everyday," she said.
"Try and only have warm showers - not too hot to dry out the skin."
Due to the spike in weather forecast for Easter, Ms McKenzie gave another tip for anyone getting dressed up over the long-weekend.
"To keep your makeup in place always start with a good primer and finish with a setting spray," she said.
"Wear a hat and stay out of the sun as much as you can to make sure your make-up stays put and looks fresh all day long."
