Hosemans was placed straight into the final 24 players who will be selected to make up the squad to represent the region in Melbourne in 2020.
The 15-year-old has had a successful summer, with his junior club Tatyoon winning the Grampians Cricket Association under-17 grand final.
If selected in the Central Highlands squad, it will be the second time Hosemans has made the team, the first time in 2017 in the under-14 division.
"I'll be trying for a spot against some very handy cricketers," Hosemans said.
"It's a very competitive competition - some great cricket gets played. I'll start having a hit around when try-outs come nearer."
The selected squads of players will have the opportunity to participate in a winter coaching program that will give the players access to top level coaches to assist in developing and refining their skills.
Following the completion of the winter program the squad will take part in a series of trials that will determine the final team of 13 players that will represent the region in the Youth Premier League 2019/20 season.
The trials and final team selection will take place in the second week of the September school holidays.
At the start of the school year, Hosemans made the move to Ballarat and is boarding for school.
"I haven't decided where I will play cricket yet for the summer," he said.
"I've settled in well and will make a call on cricket for the season in the next few months."
