Kaczynski won convincingly against Ararat VRI’s Clayton Holcombe after a slow start.
Kaczynski found himself 2-14 down early in the final – but held his composure as he applied the pressure.
Winning end after end, Kaczynski secured nine ends in a row to take home the championships trophy.
“Clayton is a ripper bowler – one of the best in the comp,” he said.
“I got off to a pretty ordinary start and he sort of had me on toast – I was a bit embarrassed by the crowd watching as I was getting heavily beaten.
“I managed to hold on and get a few close ones and put the pressure right back on him.”

Kaczynski said he was surprised by the end result.
“This is the first year I won the club championships,” he said.
“To come through and win against all of the best bowlers in the division is a real surprise.”
Sunday’s victory was the first time Kaczynski has ever won the event.
“I won my very first club championship event this season,” he said.
“I’ve been playing for about six years. A few of the boys talked me into playing.”
Kaczynski will go to the next step in Warracknabeal in March to represent the division.
“I really like playing singles and the competitiveness of it,” he said.
“There will be some really good bowlers competing at the next level – we’ll see how I go.”
