Members fished both Lake Fyans and Taylors Lake, with only Fyans producing any fish.
A total of nine redfin and two rainbow trout ended up meeting the ruler.
Darren Smith continued his winning form to take out the event with two Reddies – measuring 80cm – from Troy Hamilton, who also caught two reddies at 64cm.
Terry Martins, also with two redfin, finished a close third at 63cm.
No juniors bothered the weigh-master this time around.
Neal Dowsett took out the longest fish award with a plump 46cm redfin.
The club’s next competition will be an open water event this Australia Day weekend.
The competition will run from 6am Saturday through to noon Sunday, the with final measure at the Lake Fyans clubhouse at 12.15pm.
