The Deakin University Female Football League fixture will commence on April 28.
Matchday secretary Toni Stewart said the season will be longer for 2019.
“This year there will be a ten week playing season,” she said.
“There also will be three weeks of finals.”
In previous seasons of the DUFFL teams didn’t compete in structured finals – a playoff for positions was fought out.
The grand final will be on July 28.
Stewart said pre-season will commence soon for the team.
“We are organising some things behind the scenes and once we have everything sorted we can announce training sessions,” she said.
“We will also be announcing coaches very soon.”
In their second season, the Warriors won their 2018 playoff and claimed the fifth spot over Old Collegians.
The team were able to finish one spot higher than last 2017 on the ladder.
