Ten white suffolk cross merino lambs were stolen from a paddock on Donald-Stawell Road in Wallaloo between midday December 3 and midday December 7.
“We estimate the total value to be about $1700 – so $170 each,” Stawell Acting Sergeant Bryan Anderson said.
”It is believed to have taken place at night time.
“Investigations are continuing and we will be relying heavily on public information to help solve it.”
Acting Sergeant Anderson said community members should keep an eye out for any suspicious vehicles in that area, particularly ones with trailers, floats or small trucks.
Anyone with information that may be of assistance is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1300 333 000.
