Figures released earlier this week by V/Line showed a punctuality rate of 86.1 per cent and a reliability rate of 98.3 per cent.
This compares with an October punctuality rate of 85.3 per cent, meaning November saw a slight improvement, and an October reliability rate of 98.9 per cent, showing a slight drop.

V/Line’s reliability target is 96 per cent for scheduled services, meaning that it has met its target for November.
V/Line’s punctuality target is 92 per cent, meaning that it once again fell short.
The punctuality rate has remained steady over the past 12 months, with November 2017 at 87.1 per cent.
The reliability rate in November 2017 was 99.7 per cent, reflecting a slight drop.
A previous poll conducted by Australian Community Media indicated a 100 per cent dissatisfaction rate with the services along the Ararat/Maryborough line.
Meanwhile, the Ballarat line reflected a slight drop for reliability, with the November figure falling to 93.4 per cent from the October figure of 95.1 per cent.
Punctuality fared slightly better with the November figure of 87.6 per cent, up from the October figure of 87.2 per cent.
