The 41-year-old Sebastopol man was charged with one count of armed robbery, and is the second person to be charged in relation to the incident.
Earlier, a 31 year old Melton West man was charged in relation to the incident, as well as to an earlier incident at the Ararat RSL which occurred on October 21.
The Sebastopol man was also charged with a second count of armed robbery in relation to an incident at a sporting club on Albert Street, Sebastopol on October 29 about 11.50pm.
The 31 year old Melton West man was not implicated in the Sebastopol incident, and the Sebastopol man was not charged in relation to the earlier theft at the Ararat RSL on October 21.
The man has been remanded to appear at Ballarat Magistrates’ Court on 21 February.
The Melton West man will face the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on February 12.
