The Northern Grampians Shire Council offices on Napier Street and squash centre on Bowen Street in St Arnaud were hit overnight on Tuesday.
Two iPads, some keys and cash from a safe were taken from the council offices, with no damage to made in the burglary.
300 dollars worth of one dollar coins were stolen from two coin-operated power dispensers at the squash centre. The dispensers were ripped off the wall, but nothing else was damaged.
“We believe the two incidents to be connected,” St Arnaud Police Sergeant Bill Alford said.
“We suspect they took place at about 5am in the morning.
“If anyone has any information about these or any other burglaries I implore them to contact us here at St Arnaud or Crime Stoppers.”
