Three years after the first alleged offence, the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board will hear charges laid by Racing Victoria stewards.
It’s alleged the training partners took three horses to the races over a 10-month period from November 2015 that subsequently produced urine samples with cobalt concentration above the then threshold of 200 micrograms per litre.
The O’Sullivan charges state a prohibited substance, being cobalt, was detected in a pre-race urine sample collected from numerous horses. The hearing is scheduled to begin at 9.30am on Monday and is set down for three days.
O’Sullivan was contacted by the Stawell Times-News and declined to comment.
The trainers have horses running at Ararat on Sunday and at Hamilton on November 13.
