Testament: Robert Salzer Foundation Acquisitions

Testament presents a decade of acquisitions purchased with the generous assistance of the Robert Salzer Foundation. Building on the gallery’s comprehensive collection of post-minimalist and craft-based textile fibre art from the 1970s and 1980s, these more recent purchases showcase new approaches to the use of textiles by contemporary artists.
Also on until January 20 next year are Animalia Australis: An Art Gallery of Ballarat Touring Exhibition and Paul E. Mason – Looking for Baudin.

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Lior will perform an intimate concert of songs from his new album Between You and I at Ararat Town Hall next Friday.
One of Australia’s most respected singer-songwriters, Lior is currently touring his new album with performances that also include selections from his vast back catalogue of recordings.
This is a chance to hear Lior in a manner harking back to archetypal “salon concerts” when he and his support act, one of Melbourne’s brightest new voices in modern folk Domini Forster, play from 7.30pm on November 9.
