The team will compete in two T20 matches in pool A of the junior representative competition.
Grampians will meet Ballarat Gold in the first match and Ballarat Blue in the second.
Coach Geoff Phillips said he was looking forward to the players consolidating on their efforts from round one and association level.
“All the players have participated in more cricket the last few weeks and the invaluable experience of playing a game together as a team,” he said.
Grampians were unable to match Castlemaine in round one, defeated by 80 runs.
Phillips said the quality of players from the Ballarat teams will be something the Grampians team will need to watch.
“The boys are more prepared for what lies ahead on Sunday,” he said.
“The matches will see a good opposition and will require the Grampians team to put their best foot forward.”
Will Cooper will be unavailable for the dual T20 matches and Jordon Leith will be added into the side.
“The team should be much the same. We are hoping the stability of the team should work in our favour,” Phillips said.
The T20 format matches are shorter than more traditional cricket, something Phillips said could work in Grampians’ favour.
“With the shorter formatted games, our aggressive cricketers will be able to express themselves with plenty of attacking cricket,” he said.
