The Willaura Snapshot 2018 Photo Competition is a chance for photographers to get creative and show what they think are the most interesting parts of Willaura, said organiser Lois Reynolds.
“(It’s a) photo competition catering for both locals and visitors to snap images that show the many unique experiences, places and faces of the Willaura town and district,” she said.
The competition is running in conjunction with an exhibition at Willaura Modern Railway Station Gallery entitled “In Focus”.
The exhibition features Ararat photographer Ainsley Cameron’s photos of Willaura’s salt lakes, as well as the work of other regional photographers.
Entries for the competition are open until November 18th and winners will be announced at a special event at 6pm on Friday November 30.
Entry forms are available at the Willaura Modern Railway Station Gallery and both novice and experienced photographers are encouraged to enter.
