POLICE are appealing for witnesses to help identify a vehicle believed to have been used in an armed robbery at the Ararat RSL on Sunday October 21 2018.

Investigators believe the vehicle involved was a light coloured 4WD similar to a Toyota Prado or a Mitsubishi Pajero.
Detective Sergeant Caroline Johnson said it was believed the vehicle would have been travelling on the Western Highway towards Ballarat between 12.40am and 2.00am on October 21.
Detective Sergeant Johnson said that investigators are asking that members of the public to check any dash camera footage that they may have around this time period and to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 with any information.
Police have also renewed a request for information from the public regarding a home invasion in Montgomery Street, Ararat, in mid-September.
Four offenders forced entry into an Ararat home and assaulted two occupants on September 17 about 11pm.
Offenders then assaulted the two occupants, resulting in a male victim being taken to Ararat Hospital with minor head injuries.
