Victorian Farmers Federation will host the free event at the Ararat RSL, located at 74-76 High Street, from 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
All five candidates will be present.
They are: currently sitting member and Liberal candidate Louise Staley, Labor’s Sarah De Santis, Greens’ Serge Simic, Democratic Labor Party’s Peter Mulcahy, and Animal Justice Party’s Anna Hills.
The Victorian Farmers Federation launched their own election campaign priorities in July this year, calling on all candidates to commit to better investment in rural roads, a long term energy plan, rates regulation and science-based and practical regulation with regards to their animals.
The event is free for both members and non-members but those wishing to go can RSVP by calling the Victorian Farmers Federation on 1300 882 833.
Tea and coffee will be provided to those attending.
