Organisers St Peter's Lutheran Fellowship are again seeking help from the community to make this another special introduction to Christmas.
They are especially seeking creative ideas.
The aim of a festival is to bring people and organisations together to celebrate and enjoy a particular occasion or event.
This festival certainly aims to do that.
Christmas is the season to celebrate the birth of Christ, the season of goodwill, peace and joy.
What better way to spread that message, than to provide an avenue for people to share their talents while creating a display that will bring joy to so many.
Over the years, hundreds of people have come, and not only been imbued by the spirit of Christmas, but have gone from the festival with some wonderful ideas for their own trees and other decorations.
Over the years, hundreds of people have come, and not only been imbued by the spirit of Christmas, but have gone from the festival with some wonderful ideas for their own trees and other decorations. By popular demand, this year’s feature tree will be decorated with Chrismons.
Traditionally white and gold, these decorations originated in the US many decades ago. There will be an information brochure on display.
Across the weekend, there will also be stalls, carols, entertainment, children's activities and refreshments.
A comprehensive program will be advertised in November.
Organisers need your help to make this truly a Christmas spectacular.
Please consider submitting an entry.
Entry forms with the various sections and criteria are now available at Stawell craft shop, Eleanor Clark furniture Stawell, Neighborhood House Stawell. Waacks Bakery Stawell, Ararat and Horsham and libraries at Stawell, Ararat and Horsham.
