In a shake up of the fixture from last season it should be a round of surprise outcomes.
Reigning premiers St Andrews, will take on Rhymney-Moyston at Moyston.
With an outstanding finals campaign, St Andrews will be looking to set the scene and secure the early win against last year’s seventh-placed side.
Navarre, after removing an A grade team and entering the B grade competition, will host Wickliffe-Lake Bolac at home.
Navarre will go in confident against last year’s bottom placed team.
Chalambar will step out of the rooms, looking for redemption from their loss in last year’s semi final against Pomonal.
Pomonal will host this week’s match and will be looking for an improved season, missing finals last year by three wins. Swifts-Great Western will host Halls Gap at Great Western.
The Combine were one of the top teams in 2017-18, runners up last season despite being the leading team at the top of the ladder.
The Gappers also missed finals last season by three wins and will look at opportunities throughout the season to put in competitive performances.
In what will be match of the round, Youth Club will take on the new look Buangor-Tatyoon side.
With the clubs combining to improve development, the match will be one to watch.
Youth Club will look to make a good start and improve on their fourth place finish last season.
