The Rats carry the underdog status in the top 15 and under competition but go in full of confidence they can beat the Demons in the decider.
Horsham has lost just one game so far in 2018 which was to the Rats in round 16.
They also go into the game with strong form behind them, having had two big finals wins over Stawell in the last few weeks.
”We lost our semi to Horsham by eight goals but they missed 23 shots. We know we can get them off their game, we just have to capitalise when we do,” Ararat coach Donna Spalding said.
“The girls can cause an upset if they are switched on.”
The Rats are the reigning 15 and under premiers, with some of the players competing on Saturday in that side.
“They understand what it means to win one and will do everything in their powers to win,” Spalding said.
“We need to always be busy. These kinds of games are harder than any other but if we can find the balance of being energetic and calm as well we will push Horsham.”
