The festival will be on Friday, February 15 to Sunday, February 17 with early bird tickets now on sale.
Festival director Carly Flecknoe said the Grampians Music Festival brought visitation to the area and destination marketing.
“About 80 per cent of our audience comes from Melbourne. We start the festival later in the day and we hope patrons enjoy the surrounding towns and areas before the festival starts,” she said.
Mrs Flecknoe said the festival was about music – but also about connectivity within the community.
“Following the success of the 2018 program, we have offered six places for up-and-comers a hands-on festival experience as part of the Youth Mentorship Program,” she said.
Mrs Flecknoe said community groups such as the Men’s Shed and Stawell Neighbourhood House were involved in different aspects of the festival.
“In our family entertainment section, Stawell Neighbourhood House have been helping create canvas bags for children to decorate in line with the reusable-environmental message,” she said.
While the festival’s line-up is being kept under wraps, Mrs Flecknoe said preparations for 2019 were in full swing.
“We’re so excited about what we’re planning for our 2019 line-up and can’t wait to share it with our audience,” she said.
