All three remaining Stawell sides played on Sunday, with all three enjoying success.
The 15-and-under B netball team got things off to a winning start for the Warriors. They took care of Minyip-Murtoa 34-23 to comfortably progress to next weekend’s preliminary final against Horsham Saint.s in a game that came down to the wire.
The 15-and-under A side followed shortly, continuing the winning trend.
Playing home side Dimboola, the Warriors showed why they were a top two team with a 42-17 win.They face Ararat in a preliminary final.
The final match of the day for Stawell was the under-17 football. The side was flat in last weekend’s loss but they were anything but against Nhill. They came out with a point to prove and responded accordingly.
They dominated for the whole game to finish ahead 14.11 (95) to 1.2 (8).
League goalkicking winner Aiden Graveson had a day out, booting five goals in the win for Stawell, while league best and fairest Jakob Salmi was best on for the Warriors.
They will now go on to play Horsham in the preliminary final.
The preliminary finals will be played at Murtoa next weekend.
