THE self-dubbed ‘Human Headline’ Senator Derryn Hinch stopped off in the Wimmera on Wednesday and Thursday to meet with community members.

His main focus during his visit was to discuss his work around White Ribbon Foundation and to speak to community members about combating family violence.
Mr Hinch started his mini Wimmera tour on Wednesday by speaking to students and teachers at Marian College, Ararat.
He arrived in Horsham in the afternoon, spending time talking to community members at the Horsham RSL.
On Thursday, he met with Horsham White Ribbon ambassador Simone O’Brien, and then talked to Horsham White Ribbon Committee members at Grampians Community Health.
In the afternoon, he took time to meet community members on Firebrace and Darlot streets, and Horsham Plaza.
On Friday Mr Hinch will travel to Ararat and return to the prison Langi Kal Kal, where he spent most of his 50 day sentence in 2014.
Mr Hinch was elected into the Senate to represent Victoria in 2016.
