Halls Gap potter Katy Mitchell has shifted her studio from her house to the Halls Gap hub for the week to show off her techniques to visitors and display her hand-crafted ceramic tableware.
The pop up studio is part the Australian Ceramics Association's open studios weekend and a satellite event of Craft's 2018 Craft Cubed Festival.
Mitchell, who moved out to Halls Gap in March this year, said she wanted to open up her studio to her new community.
“I have brought pretty much my entire studio down to the hub so I can show people all the ins and outs of pottery,” she said.
Miss Mitchell, originally from the Isle of Man, said she has taken great inspiration from her new surroundings in the Grampians.
“All my illustrations are inspired by my local environment and what is on offer in Halls Gap and the Grampians is just amazing,” she said.
The studio is open from 10am-4pm until Sunday.
