Wonwondah sisters Jenny and Pam Gaulke own and operate local business Wimmera Flour.
The pair have made the generous decision to donate all profits from their sales at this weekend’s Talbot Farmers Market to the NSW farmers drought.
Growing up with second and third generation farmers, the sisters said they knew the challenges of making a living from the land.
Wimmera Flour is handmade and created from wheat farmed on an organic broad acre farm in nearby Tarranyurk.
The business first started in 2017 as an ambition to make locally produced flour products from small scale operations, giving wheat farmers, restaurateurs and home cooks, alternatives to the big, national brands.
You can find the Wimmera Flour stall at this Sunday’s Talbot Farmers Market from 9am to 1pm. The stall will be located on Camp Street, Talbot, just outside the Figtree Café building.
