The night had a special significance with a fundraising auction and a percentage of the ticket sales being donated to the Max Dillion-McInnes trust fund.
The fund were raised to set young Max up for the future after the sudden passing of his father and club champion Dean McInnes in April.
$13,000 was raised on the night in a special occasion for the Magpies.
“Max is still only three or four years old so we wanted to do something for him and Dean’s family given how big of a part he played in our club,” Magpies president Richard Blackburn said.

“It is just a small gesture of what the club could do for Dean and his family.
“It was fantastic to see the support from everyone in the club and community to get behind the family. We showed what we are all about as a club.
“Our fundraising is still ongoing to continue building the trust for Max.”
