The Pumas need to win and win big to keep their top five hopes alive and that is exactly what they did.
The Eagles found some attacking form, with Brent Bulger leading the way with three goals, but they could not stop Moyston-Willaura’s attacking power.
Harrison Cronin kicked nine majors to lead the Pumas to a 24.17 (161) to 7.5 (47) win at home.
Ethan Blake and Ryley Hamilton were also influential in the win.
It is the Pumas’ biggest win of the season so far and their second highest total.
They are now just one win behind fifth-place with another very winnable match against bottom-placed Caramut coming up this weekend.
A big win over the Swans could set up a final round match with Lismore-Derrinallum which decides what team will finish fifth. The Pumas are also 20 per cent behind the Demons.
