A US judge has granted a new elder-abuse restraining order keeping a former manager away from 95-year-old Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee.

The order says Keya Morgan, 42, must not go near or try to contact Lee, Lee's daughter or Lee's brother until a hearing on the matter on July 26.
The restraining order request says Morgan has attempted to interfere with Lee's ability to contact caregivers, doctors and family members, has attempted to alienate Lee from his daughter, and is embezzling or misappropriating $US5 million ($A6.7 million) worth of Lee's assets.
Earlier on Friday, a judge dismissed a similar restraining order against Morgan that had been granted last month, saying the lawyer who filed for it did not represent Lee.
Lawyers working with Lee's daughter immediately filed for the new restraining order.
Morgan has vehemently denied he engaged in any form of elder abuse against Lee.
