The Magpies were strong out of the blocks as centre Amanda McClelland’s drive through the attacking end helped her goalers to put up 24 shots in the first quarter to lead 12-6 at the first break.
Unfortunately poor accuracy saw only half of these count, giving the Magpies a 12-6 lead at quarter time.
Improved accuracy and a dominant display in defense by Kelsey Perry kept the Swans to three goals for the second term and extended the Magpies lead to 28-9 at half time.
The Magpies continued to build on their lead for the remainder of the match and finished 55-16 winners to extend their streak without a loss to five consecutive games.
Simone McDonald scored 29 goals to top the Magpies list while Perry and McClelland were named Wickliffe-Lake Bolac’s best players for the game.
