Storm coach Krystal Cameron said she is confident the team can match Redan on the field.
“They got the jump on us last time we played them, they are a fairly well-rounded side but I think the league itself is a bit more even now compared to previous years,” she said.
“As long as we bring the intensity of the last couple of weeks and a four-quarter effort, I see no reason why we can’t have a win.”
Cameron said the squad is starting to gel together with the wins a sign of the growth.
“I think it is just a case of the newer girls understanding what needs to happen and increasing the intensity,” she said.
“At this point of the season, we are not thinking too much about us being the reigning premiers as such, it is just more about development.”
First bounce for the round eight match is at 10.30am.
