Moyston-Willaura’s run of losses continued, this time at the hands of ladder-leaders Wickliffe-Lake Bolac by 147 points.

The Pumas leaked nine goals in the opening term which set the tone for the match, as the home team could only manage three majors to trail by 37 points at the first break.

The home team tightened up defensively but the Pies were still able to slot five majors to extend the lead going into half time.

From that point, it was all Wickliffe-Lake Bolac, as the flag favourites continued piling on the goals to outscore the home team 17 goals to two in the second half to win 31.16.202 to 7.13.55.

The Pumas’ percentage took a big hit, losing 22 per cent – dropping them out of the top five for the first time this season.

Will Slattery bagged six goals for the Pies while Matt Fogarty topped the Pumas goalkicking with three.

Luke Todd was named the Pumas’ best while Bailey Veale was the best Magpie.
