After a closely contested first quarter, the Giants allowed the Warriors to kick just one more goal for the match on the way to recording a 14.18 (102) to (4.7) 32 win.
Three goals to one in the second quarter was a sign of things to come for the rest of the match as the Giants went up a gear.
For the second time in three rounds the Stawell side only managed one goal after the opening term following promising starts.
The margin between the sides grew from 22 points at half-time to 47 with a quarter to play before the Giants eventually won by 71 points.
Similar to recent matches, Naish McRoberts, Jackson Dark and Tom Taurau were Stawell’s best on ground.
In a positive for the Warriors, their under-14 side celebrated its first win of the season on Saturday, with the mercy rule coming in to play.
