Outright winners were the combination of Marilyn Brady and Sue White. With a Pinehurst handicap of 21⅜ and a gross score of 95, they finished with a very respectable 73⅝.
A count back was required to separate the next two teams when both finished with 92 - 16½ - 75½. Chris Hurstfield and her partner Lois Dunne took the runners-up honours ahead of Barb Gow and Judy Edwards.
Nearest the pin awards were taken out by Goldie Rowe, Sandra Brady, Gayle Dadswell and Sandie Shaw. There was no local golf played on Monday because Chalambar hosted divisions two and three of Ballarat and District pennant golf.
Next Wednesday will see the return of a stableford event with entries being taken at the club or by contacting Captain Helen Tucker.
