The Grampians Riding Club will host riders from Terang and Horsham at their recently upgrade arenas at Great Western Recreation Reserve.
This weekend will be the first of two consecutive weekends of dressage events at Great Western after last week’s scheduled competition at Terang was cancelled due to poor weather conditions.
Grampians Riding Club treasurer and events secretary Kaye Clayfield said this is the busiest time of the year for the club.
“We will have four arenas going with about 80 riders,” she said.
“It is a fantastic thing for our club and the region, with people camping in the area. It is also our biggest fundraiser of the year as a club.”
The dressage series will conclude at the weekend of May 26 and 27.
