Brennan competed in the singles event and won through the first round 25-11 before losing a tight contest in the second round 23-24.
The loss meant Brennan missed out on the chance to face Commonwealth Games gold medallist Carla Krizanic for a spot in the final.
She also made the quarter finals of the state mixed pairs event to cap off a strong weekend of competition for the veteran.
Players from all over the state contested the event including Gippsland and Kyneton.
The Chalambar Bowls Club member said she was proud of her efforts.
“Overall it was a fantastic experience,” she said.
“I am looking forward to more challenges ahead at the future events I will compete at.”
The new Grampians Bowls Division season will start in October.
