The Pumas led at the first break by six goals with the visitors getting the game on their terms.
The home team netted seven goals in the second quarter but conceded 17 to the Pumas, the visitors’ highest scoring term of the round five match.
From there, Moyston-Willaura steadily increased its margin as the match went on and finished with a comfortable 53-28 score ahead of the Eagles.
Key Puma player Georgie Peel was again effective for the Pumas in the mid-court, creating plenty of drive and scoring chances for her teammates in goals.
Peel also demonstrated versatility across centre and the wing, while Katie Mcdonald stood out in goal defense in the second half to minimise the influence of Eagles goal shooter Genesis Rameka.
Eagles Missy Brown at goal keeper and goal defender Brittany Lugg worked well together, earning themselves a place in the Eagles best in the loss.
The win puts Moyston-Willaura into fourth spot on the ladder after five rounds while the Eagles sit ninth with two wins to their name.
The two teams will have a chance to freshen up, courtesy of an association bye for interleague.
