Ararat police are investigating with the community asked to report any sightings of the car.
Police say the incident happened between 8pm and 6am on Monday.
It comes just 24 hours after a white 2017 Mitsubishi Triton utility was stolen from a farm in Glendhu Road Crowlands along with about tools and two motorbikes valued at $38,000.
Sergeant Brett Johnson said police were unable to say if the two incidents were connected at this early stage, but said people needed to take precautions to reduce the risk of theft.
“To make sure their cars are locked and belongings are secured, all sheds and garages are locked with tools taken out of cars and stored elsewhere,” he said.
Sergeant Johnson said anyone with any information regarding either of the two thefts could contact CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000 or the Ararat Police Station on 5355 1500.
