Forest Fire Management Victoria and the CFA plan on burning 444 hectares, if the weather conditions permit.
The burn will go for multiple days from Thursday to Sunday.
FFMV and the CFA have advised some people may be affected by the smoke.
The Department of Health and Human Services advises anyone experiencing symptoms of smoke exposure to seek medical advice or call Nurse on Call on 1300 606 024.
The FFMV and the CFA also advise people to close windows and doors to prevent smoke from entering, if affected by smoke exposure.
Access to walking tracks, car parks, camping grounds and picnic sites in areas close to or in burn areas may be restricted.
Road’s may be hazardous for motorists due to low visibility linked to the smoke, so signs may be placed to slow traffic.
