The Bombers have been perennial contenders in recent years and will provide a good assessment of where the Pumas are at going into the 2018 season.
Zanetta Hosking will have her work cut out for her first game as A Grade coach with the home team set to go into the season opener as underdogs.
A strong performance where the team is competitive should give Moyston-Willaura confidence they are on the right track with the game also set to test some of the younger talent at the club.
Hosking said during the preseason that younger players will get a taste of A Grade action during the year which can only be a good thing for the club’s future.
A win would be the perfect start to the season for the Pumas but will have to be at their best for the full quarters to get the points.
The A Grade match is scheduled to start at 3pm at the Willaura Recreation Reserve.
