The Hawks received a $100,000 grant from the state government for the project with the club hoping the new facility will be ready for use later this month.
Club netball director Meagan Blandford said it has been a big effort to get the project completed before the season starts.
“We are really hopeful we will use it for our first home game in round two,” she said.
“We are just finishing off the painting and a few fittings on the inside to get it complete.”
The new changerooms will be a big boost for the club’s future prospects with hosting big games along with recruiting new players.
Blandford said the upgrade makes it an attractive place to play netball.
“It is just going to be a great asset to the club,” she said.
“We used the hall but that was getting a bit old.
“With the new changerooms, we think our facilities are some of the best in the league.”
