A man is in a stable condition at the Royal Melbourne Hospital after a truck rollover in Beaufort this afternoon.
The man in his 50s was airlifted to the hospital in a serious condition around 6pm suspected fractures and head injuries.
The truck he was driving rolled over into a paddock on Skipton Road, roughly 5km south of Beaufort, around 4pm on Monday.
The truck was travelling southbound before it carved down an embankment into a cow paddock.
It appeared to be an open top truck carrying sand or gravel which had spilled into the paddock.
Paramedics were called to the scene just before 4pm to assess injuries.
An air ambulance arrived around 5.20pm and departed for the Royal Melbourne Hospital around 6pm.
The man continues to be treated for his injuries by medical staff at the Royal Melbourne.

A man in his 50s has been flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital by air ambulance after a truck rollover in Beaufort this afternoon.
The extent of his injuries are not yet known.

An air ambulance has been dispatched and paramedics are on scene at a truck rollover in Beaufort.
Paramedics are assessing one man in his 50s.
