Auxiliary president Joy Wheeler thanked all those who helped put on the event.
“It was a very successful day. The Auxiliary sold out at all our stalls,” she said.
“The cake stall was absolutely fantastic and we had a very successful raffle.”
The auxillary has previously raised money for sliding doors, a TV with movable stand and Easter and Christmas gifts for aged care residents.
The new TV helped residents watch movies or catch the big race days and the auxiliary is planning for its annual Easter egg run and big Christmas party and events for other significant events on the calendar.
Mrs Wheeler said the auxiliary had not yet received a request for new purchases.
“There’s always little things, but there will be items of substance later in the year that they might require,” she said.
“It all goes to the residents for their benefit and to make their quality of life happier and better.”
