Fifty-year-old Julio Ascui, also known as Lester, has not been heard from since he posted on Facebook on December 29. His family says the disappearance is out of character.
It is believed his car, found on the corner of Stoney Creek Road and Rosea Track in Halls Gap at 5pm on New Year’s Eve, has been there since last Friday.
Mr Ascui is described as 165cm tall, bald, of medium build and tanned.
He was last seen wearing a blue and white weatherproof jacket with a blue T-shirt and brown baseball cap.
Anyone with information is urged to call Halls Gap Police Station on 5356 4411.
