The former SMW Rovers player was overlooked in the 2016 draft but put in some strong performances at the 2017 Combine that is designed to allow players to showcase their physical abilities.
Meek finished tenth in the rankings of the kicking test with 28 out of 30.
It was the ruckman’s only top 10 finish across the eight events at Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium which included standing vertical jump, a two kilometre time trial and the new yo-yo test to replace the beep test to gauge endurance levels.
It was also a chance to talk to club recruiters across the four-day Combine ahead of the AFL National Draft on November 24.
The 19-year-old is expected to attract interest from multiple clubs after improving his forward craft during the 2017 season at the Greater Western Victoria Rebels.
