Ararat Rats were well represented at the Wimmera Netball Association presentations with multiple top three finishes at the awards night in Horsham on Monday night.

Kate Bligh was named the B Grade runner-up with 23 votes after a strong season for the Rats while Racquel Scott finished in third place with 20 votes.
Alex Antonio also showed she has has a bright future in the game after collecting 15 votes across the 2017 season.
The C Grade team finished the regular season at the top of the ladder and it showed with three players in the top 10.
It was always going to be a question of how many votes players took off each other but in the end it was a strong result by three players in particular.
Maddison Batchelor polled 21 votes to finish in third while Jo Cameron and Emily Borelli also found themselves on the top 10 leaderboard.
While the A Grade team did not make finals, there was still impressive results on the night with co-coach Jess Williamson named Ararat’s best.
Williamson finished with four best on court performances for the season and finished the night with 17 votes to finish in eighth spot.
It was a positive night for the club with all but two teams qualifying for finals.
The 13 and under and A Grade teams were the unlucky two.
The B Grade and 15 and under teams progressed through to the association grand final.
