Embroidability's Josh Matthews brought his young son for support and had the better of the more senior Matthews after the first set.
It was a close win to Embroidability.
ChemMart also got in by a small margin. Ben Hartwich and Rob Weppner got their team off to an impressive 9-5, followed by a 10-3 by Carl Barry and Ryan Weppner. Amazingly, AME struck back, winning the next two sets. Riley Gason and Ryan Weppner had a great battle.
In the final match, McDonalds won by two games. It was the Mark Stevens of old as he sent big drives across court to give Gasons a chance, but strong overheads and delicate drop shots from Blizzard and Jerram ensured a win for McDonalds.
